Ram and Priya to get close in Bade Acche Lagte Hai...

The moment you all have been waiting for is finally going to arrive. Along with the slight nok-jhok that goes on between Ram (Ram Kapoor) and Priya (Saakshi Tanwar), the audience will soon witness some light romantic moments between the unusual couple of Sony TV's unique love saga Bade Acche Laggte Hai

As per the ongoing track, Priya has developed a soft corner for Ram whereas Sid (Mahesh Shetty) is trying his best to use Ashwin (Harsh Khurana) and ruin things between them.

However, our secret spy reveals that Sid's plan will be upturned as Ram will support Priya fully. This situation will bring Ram and Priya more close. We also hear that the cast and crew have flown to Australia to shoot the honeymoon sequence, as reported earlier.

We tried calling Harsha Khurana aka Ashwin but he remained unavailable for comment.

Wow! Looks like the viewers are in for some treat...

Pratigya to leap forward

When other production houses are doing it, can Spellbound and Walkwater Productions be far behind. Yes, we are talking about the lure of leap. Star Plus’Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya, the tale of a woman who fights against the prejudice and stigma against women in Indian society is all set to stride forward. However, instead of opting for the standard leap of 15-20 years, the show will take a short jump of three to four years, wherein the entire storyline will be changed.

We contacted the actors of the show and the concerned officials from the channel, but everyone preferred to remain tight-lipped on the development. However, Spellbound’s Pearl Grey admitted that the leap is around the corner.

“I can’t divulge much information, but I can say that till now you have seen Pratigya (Pooja Gor) as a dutiful wife, daughter, and daughter-in-law. However, now you will see a different side of her, which will be a motherly side.”

A source close to the show informed to us that after the leap, Pratigya will be seen in a new look and she will raise Shakti (Jaswant Menaria) and Kesar’s (Aalika Sheikh) child in the show.

Well, leap, leap all around. We hope this one will keep TV viewers engrossed!!!

No tears for Shweta Tiwari in new Sony soap

After having dominated prime time TV as Prerna Basu in Balaji's Kasautii Zindagii Kay for more than half a decade, actress Shweta Tiwari said no to TV dramas and soaps. Though she participated in reality shows, her fans were eager to see her back on a daily soap.

Well their wishes are being realized as Shweta, who won Bigg Boss season 4, will be seen in Sony TV's new soap Parvarish - Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi.

Shweta will play mother to two teenagers in Parvarish and being a mom herself she feels very close to the character. And she is extremely excited about the show. "I was bugged as I was only shedding tears on screen and wanted to try something different. I feel the theme of the Sony show is very fresh and has never been tried on Indian television," says the actress. As reported earlier the show deals with the unique concept of parenting.

The show is scheduled to go on air on 21 November at 9.30 pm once Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 5 wraps up. The show also stars Vivek Mushran, Rupali Ganguly and Vishal Singh.

Rohit Purohit to enter Chandragupta Maurya

Rohit is slated to play an out and out negative role in the Imagine show...

Rohit Purohit impressed the viewers with his boy next door image and once again the actor who plays a naughty and aspiring director in Zee TV's Sanskaar Laxmi will be back with a new look in Imagine's Chandragupta Maurya.

According to our source, "Rohit will enter as Bhadrasaal, a full on negative and powerful guy who will be hired by Dhananad (Sooraj Thapar ) to kill Chandragupta (Ashish Sharma) and Chanakya (Manish Wadhwa). Chandragupta has now openly challenged Dhananad so he approaches Bhadrasaal to defend himself."

Rohit Purohit was unavailable for his words on the same.

Looks like the upcoming spell in the show is going be filled by Bhadrasaal's evil deeds. Whether he succeeds in his mission or not is something we will have to watch.

Aditya Redij On holidays in Goa

The actor took time off for some urgent work, however, onlookers state that the actor was holidaying in Goa.

Imagine's show Sawaare Sabke Sapne - Preeto produced by Creative Eye has managed to strike the right chord with its viewers as the show has reached the #1 position on the channel in quick time.

The lead faces Aditya Redij and Ankita Sharma are rocking as a couple, now that the audience loves their chemistry on screen. But it seems that the actor's closeness with his girlfriend and ex co-star Natasha Sharma is creating a problem for the Aditya-Ankta on screen Jodi.

An insider informs, "Aditya recently asked for an off from the show to leave for some urgent personal work. However, it came as a shock to the channel and the production house when Aditya was spotted holidaying and having a gala time with his girlfriend Natasha Sharma."

TellyBuzz contacted Aditya Redij and he surprisingly denied the whole fact and said, "I was not in Goa. In fact I was in my home town Kolhapur as it had been three years since I went there. I had a pleasant time there after long."

Natasha also echoed the same tone of refusal.

Surekha Sikri unwell

The Balika Vadhu actress reported of feeling uneasy and weak and has been advised complete rest...

Surekha Sikri who made a name with her stern portrayal of Dadisa in Colors' cult show Balika Vadhu is not shooting for the show at present, reason being her ill health. Surekha has been sick for quite sometime now.

A source says, "Surekha Sikri has been unwell since a few days and we also hear that she is constantly losing a lot of weight and feeling very weak and that's the reason she is not shooting as of now."

Surekha Sikri affirmed her condition and states, "Yes, I am not well and the doctors have advised me to take complete rest. I am not shooting for Balika now but as soon as I get well I will resume my shoot."

We wish Surekha Sikri gets well soon as the audience wants to see their Dadisa back on screen...

Star Plus' Sasural Genda Phool is bringing in new entrants to make their show interesting. Amit Dolawat is the latest one to join the show. He was last seen on Sahara One's Hi! Padosi...Kaun hai Doshi?

An industry insider states, "Amit Dolawat will play the character of Abhishek, Sonali's (Hunar Hali) husband. Sonali earlier entered as Ishaan's friend. The couple will bump into Ishaan and Suhana in a restaurant. Abhishek will be shown as a psychopath who can go to any extend to prove her love for Sonali. In the future, he won't like Sonali's closeness with Ishaan and will doubt on them."

When contacted Amit he asserted, "I am entering the show as an obsessive lover who loves his wife very much to an extend that he turns a psycho. He also feels insecure by seeing the closeness of Sonali and Ishaan. Very nice character it is."

Amit Dolawat and Hunar Hali will enter the show in tonight episode.

So is an extra marital affair on the cards? The answer lies with the makers...

Sach Ka Saamna vs. Iss Jungle Se...

Truth always prevails. And it certainly does on Indian television, as the ratings of two newly launched reality shows indicate. Sach Ka Saamna, which tests a person's honesty, has surpassed the popularity of jungle-based adventure reality show Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao. The premiere episode of Sach Ka Saama, aired July 15, recorded a television rating point (TRP) of 3.4 percent as against 1.6 percent registered by the first episode of Iss Jungle Se...,according to data provided by television viewership tracker Audience Measurement and Analytics (aMap).

Both these shows have generated a mixed response from the audience. If a section of viewers is to be believed, Iss Jungle Se...,which first aired July 13, is lagging behind Sach Ka Saamna because its tasks involve a lot of creepy, slimy and dangerous creatures that leave them feeling horrified.

Twenty-year-old Leena Hiranandani says she can't stand the sight of celebrities getting so close to snakes, flies, frogs and other creepy-crawlies on the show and instead enjoys watching how people face questions on their personal and professional decisions on Sach Ka Saamna.

"Once I was eating while watching the show and Aman Verma was asked to perform a task where he had to break a few watermelons that had vague things and animals inside them like lizards, fish intestines and even monkey shit. It was the ugliest and scariest of things I've ever seen and I didn't even feel like eating my food after that," Leena told IANS.

"I'd rather watch a show like Sach Ka Saamna. It has suspense and doesn't generate a disgusting feeling. Besides, it is being hosted by Rajeev (Khandelwal)... he is a sweetheart," she added. Sach Ka Saamna puts contestants through 21 controversial and uncomfortable questions about their lives to win a Rs.10 million prize money if they answer them honestly. And Iss Jungle Se... has TV actors like Aakashdeep Saigal and singer Anaida swapping a life of luxury in Malaysia's' Taman Negara tropical rain forest to walk away with an equal amount.

Nandita Singh, a Delhi University student, too finds the tasks in Iss Jungle Se... distasteful. "The entire show looks like a set-up. It doesn't look very real. Even the celebrities who have been roped in are not very known; so it makes it all the more boring. And the tasks are not pleasing at all," said Nandita.There are many who feel the show is repulsive, but there are some viewers like Neha Sharma, 18, and Ashish Mohan, 25, who prefer Iss Jungle Se... over Sach Ka Saamna.

While Neha says she doesn't like Sach Ka Saamna because the truth about a person's personal life can break his or her family, Mohan feels there is no adventure in telling the truth about your life on national television.

"You can tell the truth to anybody any time. But the tasks these celebrities are made to do on Iss Jungle Se... are not everyone's cup of tea. I wouldn't imagine doing such things myself and watching celebrities do it with so much willingness is what thrills me about this show," said Mohan. Both the shows are adaptations of popular international reality shows.The TRPs of both the shows dipped post their launch.

Palak is out of the Jungle

Palak aka Gurmet Kaur who called herself a 'fighter' in the jungle has been eliminated from Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao. But instead of crying over her loss, she is pretty relieved to be back home.

Last week Aman and Palak were in the bottom two and had to face the deadly Maha Jungle Challenge. The challenge required contestants to keep live worms in their mouth. After learning about the task, Palak was hesitant but managed to keep a snake in her mouth for a while. However she lost to Aman who performed the challenge successfully.

Palak confesses "This has been the toughest show of my life. I have had a great time here and have made some really good friends. Aakashh was like an elder brother; Mona and Negar were my close pals." According to her it was the toughest week in the jungle as there were limited food supplies.

Palak's elimination is just a day after her birthday, She says, "This was indeed my best birthday and I loved the way my camp mates celebrated it! Aakashh gifted me chappals and Marc a gave me a stolen bedsheet."

Palak adds, "I would want to see Aakash or Negar win. Aakashh is tough and has it in him. While for Negar it will be a good opportunity to come clean of the controversies that surrounded her life in India and may be comeback".

Rakhi Sawant in trouble for cheating

A local court on Tuesday ordered filing of case of forgery and violation of Copyright Act against item girl and TV personality Rakhi Sawant and six others.

The Judicial Magistrate Jaipur ordered the filing of FIR for allegedly using the script and the word Swayamvar in a popular TV reality show in an unauthorised manner, on a complaint filed by one Gaurav Tiwari.

The complainant told the court that he had the copyright of the script and the word Swayamvar in 2008 and also showed it to a private channel.

However, later the script was used in the reality show Rakhi Ka Swayamvar in an unauthorised way, the complainant alleged.

Rakhi to invite ex-boyfriend Abhishek to wedding

Sounding excited after her engagement to NRI businessman Elesh Parunjwala, item girl Rakhi Sawant says she wants all her friends, including ex-boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi, to attend her wedding but will not invite her mother.

"I completely forgive Abhishek Awasthi. I was very surprised to know that he showed up on Sunday for my scheduled wedding. Surprised and touched. If I knew, I'd have welcomed him. Yesterday, he was my boyfriend. Today, he's my friend," said Rakhi.

But she hasn't forgiven her mother.

"Please, all that nautanki on television for five minutes can't take away the pain I've gone through. As far as I'm concerned that chapter of my life is closed," she said.

Eliminated contestants from the Rakhi Ka Swayamvar reality show were among those who had showed up to wish the couple Sunday. But although a wedding was expected, Rakhi and Elesh only got engaged.

"I was all set to marry Elesh on Sunday. But it was Elesh who said he wanted more time to get to know me. I'm very confident of him. But if he needs more time to get to know me, how can I force myself on him? I'm ready to wait as long as he wants," said Rakhi.

But although she is willing to wait for Elesh to make up his mind about the wedding, she doesn't want to shift base to Canada, where he runs a business.

"I'm completely sure Elesh is the man for me. But I do have a career in Mumbai. So he'll have to plan our future accordingly."

They are planning to go to Toronto together for the wedding of Elesh's sister.

What now, Rahul ka Swayamvar?

If reports are to be believed, Bigg Boss 2 contestant Rahul Mahajan might step into Rakhi Sawant's shoes. Mumbai Mirror reports that Rahul is being seriously considered for the second season of the immensely popular Swayamvar after Rakhi Sawant.

"Rakhi Sawant's swayamvar got a lot of eyeballs. The channels wants the second season of the show to be equally dramatic and controversial – and who better than Rahul Mahajan to pull this off?" Mumbai Mirror quoted a source as having said.

Rahul Mahajan was the cynosure of all eyes during Bigg Boss 2 when he was reportedly involved first with Payal Rohatgi and then with Monica Bedi.

The star himself however, refused to comment on the matter. He told the paper that he would 'cross the bridge when he comes to it.'

Sameer Nair the CEO of NDTV Imagine, which aired Rakhi Ka Swayamvar rubbished the rumours saying, "This is just speculation. I cannot confirm," he told the paper.

Jeevan Saathi beats Kasamh Se in TRPs..

COLORS' Jeevan Saathi has seen many ups and downs when it comes to the story line in the recent weeks. In spite of the fact that loyal viewers miss their adorable Jodi of Gaurav Khanna and Vani Gupta in the show, the serial has been rating well as it gears up for the position of #2 across channels at the time slot of 9 PM.

The story which started off as an eternal love story of Neil and Viraj set in the back drop of caste issue took a turn when the girl's ruthless father got the love of his daughter's life killed, and as a punishment got her married to a dumb person. If this was not enough, the show also saw the father scheming and plotting against his own daughter so much so that he gave her a life of suffering in the asylum.

But even these shocking twists have helped the TRP's of the show. "We are very happy with the latest development in the show, and it has given us immense popularity", says Hemal Thakkar of Playtime Creations.

He feels the character of Ishwar played by Aamir Dalvi has been lucky for him. "As soon as he entered the show, it has been great and people love it. There is lot more in store for viewers, but for that one needs to wait and watch", he adds further.

On the track ahead, our source chirps, "Viraj (Vani Gupta) is in the asylum and in the coming episodes, she will be traumatized further. She wants to get out of the place, and Ishwar helps her to escape from the sanatorium".

Their love story will see a new twist as the two come together again and stand by each other. "Jeevan Saathi has now beaten Kasamh Se at the same time slot and is gearing up for more competition", concludes our source.

No doubt that TRP's are speaking, but the viewers would still want to see a change in the regressive story line shown at the moment!!

Dill Mill Gayye takes to drama...

Star One's Dill Mill Gayye, produced by Cinevistaas has always maintained their story very simple, when it comes to their fun tracks or plots based on friendship and love. However, for the first time, they are attempting bit of drama with the track between Dr. Shashank (Mohnish Behl) and Dr. Armaan (Karan Singh Grover).

Says Amita Devadiga, Creative Head of the show "This is a very nice track between the father and his could-be son-in-law. The debate between them is just a starting point to a new twist. The next one and half to two weeks will focus on how the chemistry between these relationships gets changed. What's gonna happen next???, will be the question and you will have to wait and watch to know more".

Dill Mill Gayye had yet another reason to celebrate as they completed 300 episodes on the 12th of February. They had a small party bash organized for the crew and cast members which was a rocking affair. "This was indeed a milestone for us, as we have come a long way with this youth-based show", quips Amita.

On the track ahead, Amita states, "There have been rumors that if Armaan-Riddhima get together, there are chances of DMG going off air as there is nothing more left. But you will see something really interesting in the coming weeks that will take the story to a new high".

Well, as for now, watch out for the debate that kicks-off between Shashank and Armaan on the 17th of February, as this will pave way for a very interesting track....

Jo Jeeta Wohi Dancing Star postponed till June 2009

It seems that Star Plus is not having a very good time with it's reality band of late. After a not so successful Nach Baliye 4 and the premature ending of Arre Deewano Mujhe Pehchano comes the news that Jo Jeeta Wohi Dancing Star which was scheduled to air very soon, has now been pushed back to June.

The latter show which includes winners and contestants of earlier reality competitions is a continuation of last year's Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star, which will pit the Champions V/s Challengers. But this time, the only difference is that the singers will be replaced by dancers. Some of the names being discussed are Rajeshwari-Varun Badola of Nach Baliye1, Aamir-Sanjida( winner Nach Baliye 3), and many more. The latter duo who had also partially anchored Nach 4 confirmed that they had heard that the show had indeed been pushed back. About their participation, Aamir says "I want to do realty show in 2009 and may be Dancing Star could be my choice".

Kashmira Shah and Krushna who won Kabhi Kabhi Pyaar Kabhi Kabhi Yaar who are approached for the show say the main reason for delay is the IPL. "During this time the whole country only wants to watch cricket", says Kash. But a source who did not want to be named added that besides IPL, one more reason could be that the channel could not find the correct combination of dancers. Our khabru questioned the choice of Shama Sikander – Vinod Kambli of Ek Khiladi EK Haseena.

Rakhi Sawant who won Yeh Hai Jalwa and finished runner up in Nach Baliye 3 has also been approached, but she is adamant on not dancing with ex beau Abhishek. "How can I dance with him? He is not my partner anymore. I have told the channel that, I will dance with my choreographer and we will rock the dance floor", says Rakhi. This assertion coming from the item girl queen is not working well with some of the other possible jodis. One of whom quipped "Rakhi and Abhishek fights and patch-up are common. You never know, may be they will again come together for Jo Jeeta".

Further, the possible choice of Karishma Tanna and Mouni Roy from Zaraa Nachke Dikha teaming up as Champions has not gone down well with team mate, Ashita Dhawan. "Its surprising that the channel did not choose me, for it was my contest with Bhaktiyaar which ensured our girls' side the win in this Star One show. Ironically Bhaktiyaar has made the cut along with Chaitanya Chaudhary for the same show.

As of now, the teasers of the show that was on air has also been withdrawn, and viewers will have to wait longer to see this battle between the Champion Dancers and Challengers..

Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor on Indian Idol 4

This weekend get ready to watch some pranks and masti by Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor on Indian Idol 4. The leading pair of Delhi 6 had a gala time shooting for the show and promoting their flick which is soon to release.

Our khabroo from the sets revealed that, "Hussein asked Abhishek his secret wish of what would he have done if given a chance to take the place of Sonam in the film. In reply he said that he would spit on her for 20 times."

In the movie there is a scene where Sonam is gargling and she spits water on Abhishek accidentally. "While filming the scene, Abhishek was totally unaware of the sequence and at the end he was totally wet as Sonam took some 20 retakes to give that one perfect shot," adds the source.

On the other hand, AB's baby was too naughty on the sets. He revealed one of the secrets of Sonali Bendre. When Kapil Thapa, one of the top 3 contestants sang 'Yeh hawaien zulfon mein teri …', everybody liked it but all were eagerly waiting for Sonali's remark.

Abhishek then opened up that this particular song was written by Goldie Behl for Sonali before marriage. "This is when I said 'Yes' to him," accepts Sonali. "If Kapil would not have sung this song wel,l I would have killed him," she grins.

Tuj Sang on a 'High Alert'...

We had already reported that Balaji's new venture on Star Plus Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna has got the first warning from the channel due to its decreasing popularity. The latest development is that the show heard the second bell recently.

If sources are to be believed, "The show got a second warning this week from the channel and every body is tense as there are bright chances of the show going off air."

We called the lead Pooja Bose to know more on this. "Well I don't have any idea. The TRP's have been dipping but the creative are working on it. However, there are lots of twists and turns to come in the future episodes which will be liked by the viewers," she quips.

Another actor on terms of anonymity says "The show has got a second warning, and the future is very uncertain. All I can say is that we are working hard towards it."

A little birdie from the production house chirps, "For Ekta this 10:00 pm time slot means a lot and we are trying our best to hold on to that. There are changes made in the script and lets see what happens."

Jayshree Soni falls off a jeep..

Jayshree Soni, the lead actress of Sony's newly launched show Ek Safar Aisa... Kabhi Socha Na Tha, fell off a jeep recently and suffered bruises on her face and had internal stomach problems too.

The incident happened when the girl was shooting for a particular scene at Filmcity, where Madan, the macho man of the village kidnaps Ganga (Jayshree Soni) so that he can get married to her.

Elaborating on the scene and accident Jayshree states, "We were shooting this scene where Madan forcefully drags me into his jeep. While holding me, he had to drive the jeep which had to move zig-zag, and finally the jeep had to hit a tree and stop. But while we were doing this scene, I lost my balance and fell off the jeep. I injured my face and had some internal injuries in my stomach too. I was advised rest for about 3 days, but now all is fine and I have resumed shoot".

When contacted Producer Rashmi Sharma, she said, "We were shooting the jeep scene where Jayshree unfortunately fell outside as she lost balance. Luckily, she escaped with some internal injuries, and nothing major. She is back now after getting rest for three days".

Jayshree plays the flower seller Ganga in the show which is aired at 9.30 pm on Sony TV.

Krratika Sengar nurses a bad back..

Krratika Sengar who recently entered Kis Desh Main Hai Meraa Dil as the best friend of Gaurav aka Prem (Harshad Chopra) had a nasty fall which has aggravated the back problem she was carrying for many years now!!

"I fell from the stairs when I was shooting for Kis Desh. When I was in the 12th standard, I had this slip disc problem which got aggravated again because of this fall", says Krratika.

The actress was advised bed rest and regular physiotherapy, which forced her to fly to her native place Kanpur. "I was in Kanpur for more than 15 days, had to go thro' traction and physiotherapy. I have got back to Mumbai just few days back, and don't even know what's happening in Kis Desh", verbalizes the actress.

"As of now, I need to take proper rest so that my back does not give way in future. After all, health is wealth", concludes Krratika.

While work takes a back seat for the actress, we wish her a speedy recovery!!

Jo Ishq Ki Marzi Woh Rab Ki Marzi finally to launch..

Sagar Arts and Sahara One's show Jo Ishq Ki Marzi Woh Rab Ki Marzi is all set to go on air in March. The show was supposed to go on air in November, but due to strike the dates had been postponed.

"The show is going on air in the first or second week of March. Though we are still deciding on the dates, the shooting has been resumed," says Shakti Sagar, one of the Series Directors of Sagar Arts.

The look of the show is grand and opulent and focuses on the lifestyle of the zamindars in that era. The story is about two zamindar families who turn from friends to foes, and there blooms the love story of Sumer and Sunaina amidst all the hatred. Neil Bhatt and Neha Marda are the lead pair in the show.

It's all in the name of TRPs!!. We had already reported that Jhanvi of COLORS' Bandhan Saath Janmon Ka will be dying, and will make a comeback in the show after a month, and that this decision was taken by the creative team to increase numbers.

Well for the fans of the show, its good news as Gungun aka Jhanvi returns but in a new avatar.

"I will essay the role of Shabnam, a Muslim married lady and a mother of a 4 year old daughter", says Gungun.

Elaborating on her new avatar she quips, "Well this was a kind of challenge for me, but with the help of my friends I was able to understand my character properly. I'm basically from Lucknow and have few Muslim friends who guided me a lot".

"They told me of how their routine is, the manner in which I need to get dressed, how to follow the customaries of the religion etc. Today it's easy for me to essay the role and I will give my best", she adds.

Gungun will essay two different characters in the show. "I feel great to do so. All the three characters including myself are so different from each other and that's what is so interesting", she concludes.

Talking about the mystery our khabroo states, "There is still time for Jhanvi to reveal her real identity. For the rest, one has to wait and watch".

According to our source, "Kumkum (Juhi Parmar) will come to know that Sumit (Hussein Kuwajerwala) is in Bhuvanpur, and will go there looking for him. This is when the big moment arrives, and Sumit and Kumkum unite. After they get together they sort out the issues surrounding them".

The very versatile actor Irfan Khan who began his acting career on television with shows like Chanakya and Banegi Apni Baat is now returning to small screen with Red Chillies Idiot Box' Ghar Ki Baat Hai. Basking in the glory of success of SlumDog millionaire right now, he would be seen in the much awaited SRK produced film 'Billo Barber'.

Come 7th February, the actor will be seen enacting his reel character in Ghar Ki Baat Hai. "Irfan will be part of an episodic, where he will play Billu the barber, as in the film. The movie is all set for release, hence he is there in a special appearance" says Bhavana Sresth, Creative Director of the show.

Finally, it is confirmed that COLORS' Mohe Rang De will be going off air, end of February or early March.

Telly Buzz gave their readers fist hand information few days back that Shakuntalam Telefilms' upcoming show on COLORS, Is Des Main Na Aana Ladoo is scheduled for a launch very soon, and probably might take Mohe Rang De slot.

We had then spoken to Sphere Origin Producer, Sunjoy Wadhwa, who had said that the channel has not intimated him of anything like this.

But today, we got a confirmation from an actor who is part of Mohe Rang De, who on terms of anonymity said, "Yes, those were not just rumors, Mohe is ending probably in March. But we are yet to get an official confirmation on this, though the news is confirmed".

We tried calling Sunjoy Wadhwa again, but he was unavailable.

Well, this surely seems to be the end of the road for this periodic drama…

After 13 grueling weeks of non-stop dance, Star Plus' Nach Baliye 4 produced by Wizcraft came to an end with the face-off between the Finalists Naman Shaw-Megha Gupta and Shaleen Bhanot-Daljit Kaur tonight on February 1st. And when the ultimate moment came, Jodi #11 and favorites Shaleen Bhanot and Daljit Kaur were declared worthy winners of Nach Baliye 4.

The Finale was graced by the Badshah of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan and Lara Dutta.!! The duo won a cash prize of 50 lakhs and a swanky Maruti Estello which was presented to them by SRK and Lara.

COLORS is a channel known for its unique concepts!! Now going with this trend, another show titled 'Is Des Main Na Aana Ladoo', produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms will soon go on air!! After Balika Vadhu and Uttaran, this show now deals with female infanticide.

"The show is very unique and has a strong concept based on female infanticide. The story revolves around the village where birth of a girl child is still a sin", says our khabroo.

"This practice can be seen even today, and the show just states how a new-born girl is sacrificed on the name of God. The male member of the family, while sacrificing asks God to give that child a rebirth, but as a male", adds our source.

"The show will initially show the mannerisms of villagers towards the girl child and how they curse their better half for it. Later on, a point will come where one will see opposition from the women of the village", quips the source.

When asked about the star cast, our source states "The show will see many new fresh and promising faces. Audition took place all over and then the cast was chosen".

There is a buzz that this show will be given a prime time slot, because of its strong concept. Also, if sources are to be believed, the axe might fall on Mohe Rang De.

However, Sunjoy Wadhwa, Producer of Mohe when asked said, "I have not got any such info from the channel as of now".

When we called Gavie Chehal, the lead actor of Mohe, he too rubbished the news saying, "Going by the script we have got, the story will lead to the partition phase. And if this happens, then we have a story line for the next five months at least. So I don't know from where this news is coming".

However, our source states, "The TRP's of the show has been little low though the show has successfully completed its 100 episodes. The creative of the show is planning some changes in story line, but the future of this show is dicey for sure".

Talking about the launch date of Ladoo, our source concludes, "The show will come on air by end of February".

We called Shyamashis Bhattacharya, Producer, Shakuntalam Telefilms for a confirmation on Ladoo and he says, "Yes, the teaser of Ladoo is on. And if you see the promo, you will clearly understand the concept. As of now, I cannot divulge any more info".

Following Mona Singh’s entry in NDTV Imagine's Radha Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi, the show will see the entry of actor Karan Hukku.

Our source informs us, “Karan’s entry is before Mona’s. He makes an appearance this week and plays the role of an advertisement agency owner.” To know more details about his stint in the show, we contacted Karan who says, “The name of my character is KD and he owns an advertising agency. He is very rich and creative. At times he behaves very overconfident, but is actually a perfectionist by nature.”

“The story has a twist when Ragini applies for a job in KD’s office. I cannot reveal anymore than this, but all I can say is that KD is the guy who brings about a huge change in Ragini’s life”, adds Karan.

But wasn’t he supposed to focus only on films after Kahe Na Kahe? “Yes, in fact I already have a movie in the pipeline, but the shooting has been delayed till December. The ‘Rock On’ star, Farhan Akhtar is back on television, and this time the producer-director turned actor is not on the panel of judges, but will be hosting a reality show on a relatively new channel.

A person close to Farhan Akhtar on terms of anonymity said, “He is doing a reality show, produced by Endemol. When the production house came to him with the offer as host of the reality show, he liked the concept and accepted it.”

He is yet to sign the contract on the dotted lines. “The concept of the show is not just about dance and singing, but is something very unique. The proceedings for the show are in its initial stages though”, adds our source.

The good looking boxer who recently got home the bronze in the Olympics Games held at Beijing met up with the Bengali bong shell right after her dance performance and both, as onlookers put it, couldn't contain their excitement.

Here is the actress talking about her experience being in the show, her favorite contestants, her take on reality shows and much more…

Why did you opt for such a long break?
I was with my family, as they needed me more than anyone. I have always believed that everyone has a time dedicated to people around. I spent half of my life entertaining people and all my fans, and now again I am back.

Your take on 9X’ Tyohaar Dhamaka?
Tyohaar Dhamaaka is a never-seen before concept on 9X. It basically aims in showcasing the Indian festivals through various Indian dance forms. It's going to be a great show, as far as audience viewing is concerned. The show represents Indian culture, which is not being seen now-a-days in reality shows. Moreover being a dancer, I feel elated to be part of such a show.

What made you sign the show? How did all of it happen?
First of all it's a dance show and I, being a dancer respect every form of art. Tyohaar Dhamaaka is very unique, as it focuses on Indian art. SOL productions shared this concept with 9X, and then I was approached for judging the show. I liked the concept, hence agreed.

What is the format/pattern of the show?
There are contestants from 4 zones- East (Purab Ke Suraj), West (West Ke Best), North (Uttar Ke Puttar) and Central (Central Ke Sikander). They perform according to the given theme of the episode and I judge them based their performance, sync with the team, expression and co-ordination. Like any other show there are winners and there are those who have to leave.

What is your role as the only judge of the show? What kind of responsibility do you have to face?
Being the only judge on the show, it really becomes intricate at times. But on a lighter note, I also enjoy the fact that I am the only judge; because that gives me a fair chance to put forth my views about the performances. This also is an advantage to the participants as they get to interact freely with me. As I can see the kind of hard work the participants are putting in, it feels bad when I have to eliminate them. Actually, it's more on the audience to decide whether I'm a good judge or not (laughs).

Other than the show representing Indian art, what do you think are the other factors that will make the show popular among audience?
Tyohaar Dhamaaka has such good dancers that it is really an honor for me to guide and mentor them. All the television stars be it Naman Shaw, Shayantani Ghosh, Narayani Shastri, are very hardworking. There is immense co-ordination between the dancers, astounding choreography and amazing style. In fact, everything in the show is so well structured, that the audience will never find it monotonous.

As we all know that reality shows now-a-days have become an open platform for screening grievances and controversies. So is Tyohaar Dhamaaka also on the same lines?
I would not like to comment on what the other reality shows are depicting, but Tyohaar Dhamaaka is absolutely not heading towards those lines. It is a very feel good show, and the participants are very sociable with each other.

Are you partial towards the west zone because of your own ethnicity?
Not at all, that will never ever influence my judgment. I have always supported talent, be it from any zone.

Lastly, any future plans on coming back in movies?
I did get some roles to act as mother; some concepts were good some were not, but as of now no plans to make a comeback in movies.

Suresh Albela from Kota, Rajasthan is the winner of ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ on Star One. For the judges, former cricketer Navjoth Singh Sidhu and Shatrughan Sinha, it was a tough decision because all the four finalists – Raas Bihari Gaur, Bharati Singh, Suresh Albela and Sikander-put up a great show.

Suresh Albela, a shy young lad from Kota, rendered his ‘comic ode’ to Mallika Sherawat and Emraan Hashmi and he had us in splits. Nervous, but confident, Albela impressed the jury and the viewers alike with his comic style.

He vividly recollects when Malaika Arora Khan was a guest judge on the show. Speaking in chaste Hindi, he said, “I am a huge Malaika fan. If last week saw the Eastern Zone mentor Shabana Azmi awarding the ‘dramebaaz’ Jodi from Central Zone Twinkle Bajpai and Puneet Israni with 1 point, this week will see the retaliating to it in Central Zone mentor, Zeenat Aman9X’ Kaun Jeetega Bollywood Ka Ticket!!

Well, are you wondering what Zeenat does this week? The answer is so simple, as she returned the same 1 point to the very consistent Jodi from Eastern Zone (Shabana’s team) Naman Shaw and Bindu, even after they delivered a top-notch performance… This resulted in a heated argument between Shabana Azmi and Zeenat Aman. Defending her judgment-call, Zeenat told Naman, “Since I had already given you marks last week before the entire controversy started on the sets and now that the others were penalized, it’s only fair to them that even you bear the consequences of your actions”. This irked Shabanaji totally, and she argued saying, “I have known Zeenat for a very long time and this comes as a complete shock to me that she could ever do something like this. The episode should have ended last week itself rather than extending it on this week”.

Naman Shaw, who remained a silent spectator to this, is a very unhappy man today, as he told Telly Buzz, “It was very upsetting to get just 1 mark in spite of giving the best performance. All the judges appreciated our performance and in fact said that this was by far the best they have seen this season”. Reacting on Zeenat’s decision, the actor added “It was a fresh day, devoid of fights and controversies; but it seemed as though Zeenat Aman was very much impressed with Puneet and felt bad with his ouster, so wanted to play the ‘Tit for Tat’ game by giving me 1 mark”.

However, another contestant on terms of anonymity expressed to us that, “I don’t think it was a revenge taken by Zeenatji, but she did punish Naman for whatever he did last week”.

Dev Keswani who was unceremoniously replaced by Amit Verma in Star One’s Annu Ki Hogayee Wah Bhai Wah is back to television now!!

The actor will now be seen replacing Akshay Sethi in Star Plus’ afternoon saga on women power, Grahasti. Dev will be seen as Raunak who used to be the love interest of Soni. “I have not seen the manner in which this character was played before by Akshay before. There have been lot many changes in the life of Raunak and with his comeback, a new track will start”, says Dev Keswani.

Elaborating on his entry, the actor says, “Raunak will come back from abroad after completing his studies. He has made name, fame as well as money. He has got more calm, composed and very organized and is glad that he is back as a more successful and responsible person. He now wants to get his love, Soni back”.

With Raunak’s comeback, there is a complicated love quadrangle that develops in Grahasti. “Shaleen Bhanot who plays Manas Ahuja is in love with Soni, but Soni loves me and I love Soni. At the same time, Rano loves Manas, but he treats her as his friend”, states Dev about the complex situation in which the love-birds are in.

Dev wants to move ahead and does not want to touch upon the past. “I was getting many offers, but wanted to get the right role to be back. I am looking forward to playing the very positive, honest and down-to-earth character of Raunak”, says the actor as he signs off.

Zara Nachke Dikha’s (Star One) gorgeous judge Malaika Arora Khan was flooded with compliments when she recently attended a wedding and bumped into the renowned Deshmukh family.

Their eldest son shared his feedback with Malaika on how their entire family is hooked on to Star One’s Zara Nachke Dikha. They enjoy the performances of both the teams to the hilt and have actually blocked their Monday and Tuesday evening from 9:30 pm onwards!

They also appreciated the new format of the show and were curious to know who the winners are going to be! Maharashtra’s Honorable Chief Minister Mr. Vilasrao Deshmukh also agreed to the same.

A new flavor to Milind-Prachi love story post leap....

Star Plus’ Kayamath is going for a 4-year leap and a new Bengali family is going to be introduced this Thursday, September 10th.

The post leap will show Prachi (Panchi Bora) in the Dasgupta household where she is wedded to Proteek Dasgupta played by Gaurav, a newcomer to television.

Telly Buzz talked to Panchi Bora to know more on the post-leap story. “I am very much missing the Shah family, Sanjeeda, Shabbir and Jay. But I am sure that the new family will be accepted by the viewers”, says Panchi.

When asked about the reasons for her re-marriage in the serial, Panchi says, “Well, I cannot disclose much but I can tell you that Prachi has not suffered from a memory loss and she has a genuine reason for getting married”.

However, a well-placed source from the production house informs us that, “Prachi has got into a ‘samjhauta’ with Proteek and has married him just for her kid”. For the uninitiated, Prachi was pregnant with Milind’s kid when she left him. “Prachi has stayed away from Milind to keep him safe and secure; at the same time, she is a good mother to her little son”, says our source.

We further talked to Sandiip Sikcand, Senior Creative Director, Kayamath to know more on Milind and Prachi’s future. “I can only say that the leap will bring in a new flavor, and a fresh love story between Milind and Prachi. Fans can breathe a sigh of relief as Mallika will not be seen at least for sometime post leap”, says Sandiip.

With the leap, many characters of Kayamath will go missing, and one big name happens to be Jay Bhanushali. Jay had his last shooting schedule for the serial yesterday, and the actor now misses the serial that gave him recognition. “I will miss the entire unit and cast. Kayamath was my first big project and it feels bad to be out of it. But all good things need to come to an end”, says Jay. When asked whether there will be a comeback for Neev, the actor states, “As of now, there is nothing planned”.

As Panchi Bora puts it, Kayamath is all about ‘Changing Relationships’ and the viewers will surely wait with bathed breath for their most popular Jodi MICHI to get together!! Tata Indicom Ek Se Badhkar Ek… Jalwe Sitaron Ke will witness the Grand Finale this weekend wherein the the two finalist couples – Raja Hasan and Jassi Kaur along with Kushal Punjabi and Sanchita Bhattacharya set the stage on fire.

The show stealer was the popular Pakistani band Fuzon, who gave thrilling performances on songs like ‘Suna Suna’ and ‘Khamaj’.

The Best Dancer Award went to Abhishek Awasthi while Aishwarya Nigam walked away with the Best Singer award. A surprise performance was by the elusive ace choreographer Ahmad Khan who won the hearts of the audience by his flawless performance on hits like “Aya Pappi, Krazy 4 and his debut, the spirit of Rangeela with Jassi and Kushal.

Shayantani was not far behind when she received thunderous applause for her performance on ‘Jiya Jale”. Aneek’s medley treat was far ahead of his usual performance. Pakistani Comedians Ali Hasan and Irfan Malik had people rolling in the aisles amidst fits of laughter. Abhijeet da’s soul searching performance with the visually challenged band Udaan was something new and touching. The little kids of Zee TV’s new yet-to-be-launched show Chota Packet, Bada Dhamaka (the kids version of Ek se Badhkar ek) did a dhamaka on the stage when they performed on “it’s the time to disco”.

The icing on the cake was the presence of stunner and controversial cricketer, Shoaib Akhtar, who to everyone’s surprise not only sang a Kishore Kumar number, but also put up a masaledar performance on hits like ‘Don’ and ‘mohabbat hai mirchi’. And to tango with him was none other than the Sexy Esha Deol. Looking at both, it was pretty evident that Bollywood calling is not far behind for Shoaib.

But as it goes, every show can have only one winner and it was ultimately Jasveer Kaur and Raja Hassan who beat Kushal Punjabi and Sanchita in the final race to glory.

The most controversial reality show, Lux Kaun Jeetega Bollywood Ka Ticket on 9X will witness a heated argument this week between the East Zone mentor, Shabana Azmi and contestant of Western Zone, Jai Bhanushali.

Jai had told that he was extremely disappointed about his score last week. He had also confided to voice this out in the very next episode and this is exactly what Jai did! “I showed various clippings of mistakes made by contestants in spite of which the judges gave them great scores. The judges grew angry at me and said that they did not expect me to talk like this. But the fact was that they just did not have anything to say as my AV’s did all the talking. I hope that they award proper and consistent marking to the contestants from now on. I raised this point on behalf of all contestants, but Naman and Vikas did not agree with whatever I did”, explains Jai.

This week saw amazing performances coming from North zone’s Sahil and Mihika Varma, Central zone’s Chetan Hansraj and Sanyogita and Western zone Jay Bhanushali and Rituka.

Sahara One and Cinevistas are coming up with a new serial ‘Intehaa Pyaar Ki…Kaisi Laagi Lagan’. The show is set to go on floors from 25th August.

According to our well-placed source, “This will be a college-based theme which will go on to be a cursed love story. The serial will be a daily from Monday to Friday, but the time slot has not been finalized yet”.

Speaking on the star cast, our source informs us “The cast includes a bunch of youngsters – Priyamvada Sawant who was earlier seen in Meri Doli Tere Angna, Romanchak, Mahi Vij the girl in DJ Akhil’s music video ‘Tu Hai Wohi’ and a newcomer Kaushik”.

Bidaai celebrates Success...

Rajan Shahi’s Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai has been raking high TRP’s and undoubtedly holds the Numero Uno position in Television!!

And to celebrate the success of Bidaai, Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut Productions along with Star Plus hosted a Press Conference followed by a grand bash on 20th August, Wednesday at Sangam Ball Room, J. W. Marriot.

The Press Conference was hosted by Shabaana Mullani and on the dias were present Rajan Shahi, the eldest in the Bidaai family Alok Nath, Sara Khan, Parul Chauhan, Angad Hansija and Kinshuk Mahajan. A nostalgic AV was shown which depicted the progress of Bidaai to the topmost position which was followed by Rajan Shahi addressing the entire gathering present there.

Speaking on the occasion Rajan Shahi, Head of Director's Kut Productions said, “The success of Bidaai can be attributed to the hard work, sincerity and dedication of my team, star cast, channel and the production of Bidaai has been an excellent experience". Rajan Shahi then handed over the mike to Alok Nath who introduced the cast of Bidaai to the media and everyone in the cast shared their experience working in Bidaai.

Followed by the Press Conference was the big bash which was a rocking success as it saw a galaxy of stars making it to celebrate the occasion with the entire cast of Bidaai.

But Rajan Shahi got nostalgic to see Ravi Rai at the party, with who he had worked for 6 long years.

Housemates suffer from insomnia...

The 3rd episode on Bigg Boss to be aired on 19th August begins with housemates having insomnia as none of them have slept the entire night as the task was to sleep in total of 100 hours till Wednesday. They all decide to sleep and wake up in some time and then continue with their task.

The first alarm rings to wake them up but no one wakes up. At the second alarm the first housemate to wake up is Ketki Dave and is shocked to see everybody sleeping…At the third alarm all the housemates wake up..

Debojit is frustrated that he cannot do his riyaz without his musical instrument. He keeps on pleading to Bigg Boss if he can get his musical instrument and even ensures that other housemates pleaded his case.

Further in the episode all of them are sitting together and Raja tells Aashutosh teasingly to teach Jade Hindi. He starts with A for Aloo, B for Bhaloo and further on... and amusingly Jade actually tries it...

Further the housemates come to know that Jade is constipated and has not been to the loo since four days…They all give their suggestions on what she should do to relieve herself and in the process Rahul, Debojit, Alina try to teach her the Indian style of using the loo by squatting.

After some time Jade starts crying because she is missing her children. Monika consoles her and tries to calm her down. Further in the episode Jade finds out that she is suffering from Cancer (Only yesterday, the results of Jade's test were out, conducted in UK before her departure to India), and then Bigg Boss decides to bid her good bye and wishes her that she recovers well.

Payal looks in the camera and wishes her mom "Happy Birthday".

With the second episode, action begins in Bigg Boss!!There is a welcome dinner provided by the Bigg Boss which is followed by contestants pairing up. It's time for contestants to inform Bigg Boss about 2 housemates that they would like to put up for nominations, however just before they could do that Bigg Boss announces that we would like to showcase our hospitality to our first ever international celebrity – Jade Goody, hence the housemates cannot nominate Jade Goody and her partner this week.

The next day begins with breakfast worries and per nominations stress for week one…Raja Chaudhary and Sanjay Nirupam were announced as the two nominated for evictions by the housemates.

Further in the episode Jade Goody learns the bollywood style dancing from Sambhavna Seth as they perform to the hit number ' Mehooba Mehooba', Ehsan Quershi croons the song for them.

The Bigg Boss gives them a task for day 1 that is to be handcuffed with their partners. The Bigg Boss has instructed all the house mates to converse in Hindi the only exception being Payal and Jade Goody. Payal has been instructed to teach Jade Hindi. Where she teaches Jade how to say hr name in hindi.

Everyone comes up and takes upon themselves the various tasks, like cooking, cleaning, washing etc…Rahul says that I can't cook so I will take the task of keeping the toilets clean. He takes a broom and starts cleaning the bath room.

While all the house mates are sitting and talking, Jade comes running in the living room, saying there is some crisis in the bathroom and the water tap is broken. Rahul tries to fix the crisis.

Manish Goel's Electrifying Act...

The ‘Performance’ episode on Star One’s Zara Nachke Dikha on Monday will see the Tez Talwar Manish Goel shaking his legs to the energetic number ‘Humma Humma’!!

Creating a perfect ambience for this number, Manish performed this solo set in a garage with loads of pyros and fireworks in the rights sense!! The judges were stunned by this electrifying act where Manish adorned a cool ‘Dhoom 2 look’…

But the highlight of the performance was the manner in which Manish set the stage on fire and that too, in real!! As he was performing, one side of the stage caught fire due to the pyro works that were part of the act. Everyone on the sets was taken aback and the situation got chaotic, but normalcy prevailed quickly as the necessary precautionary steps were taken by the crew. However, the amazing part was that Manish was unfazed and managed the entire condition quite well and chose to continue with his performance..

And this is what we actually call ‘Set the stage on fire’ act!! Kudos to Manish!!

Jade Goody, the celebrity from UK's reality show Big Brother, made an entry into the Bigg Boss house as one of the 14 participants on premiered on August 17th 2008, as 'Bigg Boss Season 2'COLORS.

However, her stay at the Bigg Boss house has been cut-short with an unfortunate development. Only yesterday, the results of Jade's test were out (conducted in UK before her departure to India), and the tests indicate the possibility of cancer. Jade had just stayed in the Bigg Boss house for 2 days and was looking forward to reaching out to millions of Indians through Bigg Boss Season2, to try and dispel various perceptions that exist in people's mind about her.

According to Deepak Dhar, Country Head, Endemol India, "We are shocked to hear this unfortunate news. Jade has been very brave in the face of such a difficult situation and we are extending all possible support that she requires at this stage. Our prayers are with her."

Commenting on the development, Rajesh Kamat, Chief Executive Officer – COLORS, said, "It is indeed an unfortunate development and we extend full support to Jade in this hour of testing times. Jade is a strong-willed woman who's emerged victorious from many a battles. We sincerely hope that she wins this time as well."

In few days of entry into the house, he got into controversial ground with Sambhavna Seth after commenting on her profession. Within two days of getting into the show, the house mates nominated him for eviction and now he happens to be the first contestant to get evicted from Bigg Boss house..

The Ex-Rajya Sabha MP who is now a Congress man faced the first challenge of interacting with the commoners in the house of Bigg Boss. “I wanted to interact with people coming from all walks of life. I wanted to see whether being a politician I can lead a life being watched by 32 cameras for all the 24 hours. I also wanted to spread a message to the people that a politician can easily live under the scanner and let them know that we too are a part of the society”, quips Sanjayji.

Stating his experience of being in the Bigg Boss house for 7 days as memorable, the politician says, “It is tough for a person like me to stay without his mobile, newspaper, away from interaction with outside world and his party workers. I am glad that I made this journey”. Ask him about the reaction of his party workers when he notified to them about his stay in the Bigg Boss house, and Sanjayji quickly says, “Frankly speaking, I got a mixed reaction. While few said you should take this move, many discouraged me saying the people there might not be good”.

So was there any learning curve for Sanjay Nirupam, the person here? “Well, I found that all the contestants irrespective of the profession they came from were rooted to their culture and it showed in the manner in which they interacted in the house”. When asked whether he got an opportunity to deliver his usual speeches and advise contestants, Sanjayji quipped, “Yes, there were a couple of housemates who went against the rules of Bigg Boss. I was constantly telling them that they knew about the rules before making it here, so they need to abide to the rules now”.

Ask him about the tragedy that has stuck Jade Goody and he says, “She was full of life, always energetic and a nice person by heart. Her health issue was a big shock for all”.

Sanjayji made quite number of friends in the house, but Ehsaan Qureshi is his favorite. “Ehsaan was fantastic and I will cherish the time I spent with him”, says he.

As a parting note, Sanjay Nirupam says, “I took up the challenge and interacted well with the commoners. I conveyed to the people that we politicians too, lead the same life that the masses do. Now the second challenge for me will be to see how people react after seeing me in Bigg Boss. I am waiting eagerly to know whether they accepted me and my decision”.

The Rock fever empowers Amul Star Voice of India this Saturday as the ‘Rock On’ team –Farhaan Akhtar and Purab Kohli grace the ‘Scoring Saturday’s’ performance round on the show.

The high tension episode on Friday where Ismail walked out after a shocking elimination on the show encouraged Shaan to ask him what went wrong and why the public is reacting this way. Ismail with no explanation requested the public to listen to the kids with their hearts and not with their minds.

With Farhaan and Purab talking about the film Rock On, Shaan introduced the theme for the episode as ROCK MUSIC. All the contestants had prepared Rock songs to impress the judges. The first contestant to present his claim to TOP 9 was Ryan Dias, the Voice of Andhra Pradesh who sang Rishtey. Farhan thought that this was a fantastic performance and said that Ryan held the promise of lasting for long in the show. Purab really liked Ryan’s performance and his hairstyle too! Sukhi felt that Ryan delivered more than what was expected. With an incredible headstart, the stage saw each performance being far superior than the previous one as Saptaparna the Voice of 7 sister states, sang Johnny Gaddar.

Just before Zakir’s performance there was tension as Ismail Received a note from Zakir’s family. Ismail said that Zakir’s family was trying to bribe him. He handed a letter to Shaan. Shaan read it out and it turned out that Zakir’s son had written a letter to Ismail asking him to make his father the Voice of India so that Zakir could buy him a cycle. An emotional and apologetic Ismail promised to buy his son a cycle. Zakir said that he was really sad because he couldn’t run behind the cycle because of his disability.

Zakir Hussain the Voice of Chattisgarh sang Aaja aaja main hoon Pyar tera and received a standing ovation from the audience; Monty told him that there was no need to worry as Zakir was flying thanks to his brilliant singing.

Ritisha, the voice of Bangalore mesmerized audience with his rendition of Gustakhiyaan hai, She also requested Farhan to sing his titkle track from Rock On for them. A very sporting Farhaan just reeled the song with much ease and rocked the Amul Star Voice of India Stage. Purab also joined in with the famous ‘ROCK ON’ number.

Ravi, the Voice of Delhi performed on AAp ki Dua, Sayantani, the voice from Orrisa sang Dum Maro Dum, Rohit, the voice of 7 sister states got the crowd to groove with O meri Jaan, Vinti, the voice of Uttar Pradesh impressed the judges and Farhan with her recital of Mast, Rahul Mukherjee from Maharashtra sang Alvida and Vipul, the voice of Punjab gave a mind-blowing performance from Farhan’s movie Dil Chahta Hai. One bad week for Chaitanya Choudhury sees him cooling his heels in the penalty bench in Star One’s Zara Nachke Dikha. But the actor seems to be more concerned about his injured back which has been giving him trouble for the past few weeks.

“I have injured my lower lumbar region. I already had back problems but it got worse when I fell on my ankle in a chair act during the technical rehearsals. My doctor has advised me clearly to take rest”, quips the actor.

The ‘Tez Talwars’ ended up losing the battle to ‘Meethi Churis’ this week and with this, Chaitanya finds himself in the penalty bench. When asked about his face-off with Mouni Roy, the actor says, “Well, I don’t want to say anything on that as I feel that I gave my best shot. My injury is certainly not a reason for this”. So will we be seeing Chaitanya get to his dancing best in the battle of sexes? “I will take it bit easy in the coming week, but I am sure I will be back in action soon. To tell you frankly, I can’t wait to be fully fit and dance again”, concludes Chaitanya..

The concluding episode on August 2nd was an action packed, adrenaline pumping one with deserving talent maestros Deepak and Nishtha of the Desi Dhurandhars as the winners. Adding to the excitement of the evening, audiences saw Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh stepping up to demonstrate their performing skills, but this time on Gini & Jony Chak De Bachche stage rather than the cricket field! It was Dhoni’s team who finally walked away with the title; he was strongly supporting Deepak and Nishtha all through the episode. Zee’s Ek Se Badhkar Ek has seen everything; whether it is a face-off between participants, judges’ outrageous marking of points, unwanted comments made by judges, change of host this show has indeed all the ingredients that make it ‘spicy’!!

Now we see a different issue cropping up and it was the no-show of Sanober Kabir on the day of shoot!! Ironically, it was Sanober-Musarrat jodi along with Abhishek-Meenal who were in the danger zone this week.

According to our source, “Even though Sanober was not present for the face-off, Meenal and Mussarat performed in which Meenal scored higher than Mussarat. So Meenal and Abhishek stay!!”. The news that the ‘Queen of Soaps’ Ekta Kapoor called the Bidaai girls, Sara Khan and Parul Chauhan to offer them a role in her new project has spread like wild-fire now!!

A very elated Parul says, “Sara was at my place that night and had come to meet my mother who was going back to Lucknow when we got a call from Ekta Kapoor. Ekta put us on a conference call and offered me, Sara and Ali Merchant a role in her new project which will be replacing Kyunki Saas..”.

Echoing the same sentiments as Parul, Sara states, “Yes, it is true that Ekta called us. I would really want to work with her in future, but as of now, Bidaai remains our priority”.

Both the girls stated that they had immediately called Rajan Shahi, Producer and Director of Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai and informed him about the proposal from Ekta and that they had immediately declined Ekta's offer.

“We were really shocked and surprised when Ekta called. But we refused the offer as Bidaai means a lot to us and this serial has got us a name in the industry”, quips Parul.

Telly Buzz called Nivedita Basu, Creative Head, Balaji Telefilms to confirm whether Ekta’s flagship serial on Star Plus, Kyunki Saas is ending and also on Ekta’s offer to the Bidaai girls. But Nivedita’s answers came as a shocker as she said, “Why will Ekta go and call the girls?? Ekta has not called anyone and this is the fact”. On Kyunki nearing its end, Nivedita quickly says, “Kyunki is not ending, we are doing well and there is no reason for which we have to shut shop”.

Later, when we called Parul and Sara to tell them that the creative from Balaji claims that Ekta did not call them, the girls stated, “We really do not know what is happening. But it is true that we got a call from a lady who said she was Ekta Kapoor”.

We tried to get Ekta Kapoor as well as Anupama Mandloi, Senior Creative Dierctor, Star Plus on phone, but they remained unavailable for comments. However, when we buzzed Rajan Shahi, Producer of Bidaai, he said, “The girls told me that they got a call from Ekta. I am really happy for them, but cannot comment further”.

However, we tried to dig deeper into the matter and found that Ekta is slowly but steadily planning to end Kyunki Saas. Our source states, “There is every possibility that Kyunki might go off air in the coming year, and the renewal in contract that is supposed to happen in October this year might be the last extension for Kyunki”. Our source also gives us information that Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki and Kasturi might also shut shop by next year.

Confirming this news is Shamin, who tells us, “My name in Dulhann is Nandini. She is a positive character who is already married to an insane person in London. Unable to withstand the torture meted out by her husband, Nandini elopes and reaches India. Bharat eventually saves her from goons and gets her to his house. As the track proceeds, we both will fall in love”.

Sumit and Kumkum who pretend as married couple before their families are taken to the Kuldevi mandir to do a pooja where Sumit, played by Hussein Kuwajerwala starts to get flashes of his past-life.

The cast and crew were in upbeat mood to shoot this very important scene at the Chandivli caves that paves way for the interesting track ahead.

As Sumit enters the caves with Kumkum, he starts to get flashes of his past life. The couple performs the havan and when Kumkum bends her head to take blessings of the Kali mata, her maang gets filled with Sindoor. Sumit who usually gets uncomfortable when he sees Kumkum(red color) immediately starts getting visions of his past and ultimately collapses. Giving us this news is our source from the sets, “Mohit Malik has been cast as Sindoora’s son and he will play a very positive role”.

We called up Shayamashis Bhattacharya, Producer, Shakuntalam Telefilms to confirm this news. “Yes, Mohit has been short-listed for the role, but we have not zeroed on him yet”, says he.

However, our source says, “Mohit will start shoot from tomorrow and all is finalized. Even though he is the son of the very negative Sindoora, the guy is very good-hearted and will be a strong pillar of support for Divya and Amar and will help them out in their future hurdles”.

Ratna Singh’a Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Naa which saw the entry of Payal, Swayam’s girlfriend in the guise of Aastha will now see a bitter side of Payal, resulting in the death of Swayam, played by Rahil Azam...

Payal has a mission in hand to create a rift between the two brothers, Shubh and Swayam. In the meantime, Shubh realizes that Aastha has been kidnapped by Payal. But Payal tries to get close to Shubh in the presence of Swayam, thus adding more doubt in Swayam’s mind. All this leads to a confrontation between the brothers and in the tussle that follows, the truth about Aastha being Shubh’s wife spills out before Swayam. A very shocked Swayam vows to Shubh that he will bring back Aastha from the clutches of Payal. Swayam’s encounter with Payal ends up in a major twist when Payal reveals that they have a kid who is terminally ill. Hearing this, Swayam gets emotional and this is when Payal plays her next card and stabs Swayam, thus killing him.

With this, the major track of Rahil Azam comes to an end!

Rahil Azam the actor is glad that he has completed his duty as an actor and is doubly pleased that the viewers appreciated his work. “I consider myself lucky as I got to play varied roles in one serial. First of all, for a man to play a woman in itself is a challenge and to top it all, to play a sophisticated prostitute was something special. Then came the other side of the split personality who was aggressive, which was followed by the comic touch provided to the character. Lastly, it was the suspicious husband with shades of grey. What more can a male actor ask for in this woman-dominated television scenario?”, says Rahil.

When asked Ratna Sinha, Producer of Babul about the death of the much-loved and appreciated character Swayam, she says, “Every character has a journey to complete and in this case the triangle had to be resolved. Hence Swayam exits like a hero”.

Explaining the track where Payal kills her own love Swayam, Ratna Sinha says, “Over the years, the bitterness and anger on being ill-treated by the Ranawat family has taken a toll on her and she is at a phase where she can do anything for her ailing kid”.

According to our sources, “Swayam’s character played by Rahil clicked so very well with the audience that there is every possibility of Rahil Azam coming back to the show after a while”. Adding on, our source informs us “Payal has a bigger motive in killing her own love, Swayam as she wants to bring her kid into the house as he is the heir of Ranawat family, being the kid of the eldest son of the house, Swayam”.

The dramatic death of Swayam will be telecast on 14th August and if sources are to be believed, there will be an introduction of few new entries to take the story forward.

Kuch Is Tarah the new age love story on Sony Entertainment was started by Balaji Telefilms in November 2007. The latest buzz is that the serial may be going off air this October.

The story took its viewers through the journey of a teenage middle class girl who awaits her prince charming. Then was the contract marriage in the story, with the twist of split personality and now a new entry.

When asked to comment on the serial being taken off air, Nivedita Basu, Senior Creative Head, Balaji Telefilms said, “At least for two months there is no such plan and after that we don't know. I think you should ask the channel for this".

Even though Nivedita gave a “Mystery” reply to this “Misty” love story's future, but our sources have confirmed that the last of shooting of this serial is 2nd October.

Sony’s Kabhi Kabhie Pyaar Kabhi Kabhii Yaar has reached the quarterfinal stage with four jodis, Krushna-Kashmera-Mukul, Tina-Karnvir-Teejay, Wasna-Mridul-Tina and Shalini-Jatin-Priya battling it out to win the coveted trophy.

The contestants will be in a joyous mood as the theme this week is ‘Celebration’. While Shalini and Jatin performed on Billo Rani, Jatin celebrated Karva Chauth with Priya on the number’ Mahi Ve’. It was wedding bells for Tina and Mridul as they danced merrily to Dil Vich Lagi Ae, while Mridul celebrated the occasion of becoming a father with Wasna on Aaja Soniye… Teejay and Karnvir looked fabulous as they celebrated their anniversary with Mauja, but the icing on the cake was the performance of Karnvir-Tina on Unke Nashe Main...The other show stealer was of course Krushna and Kashmera who got applauded by one and all for their mindblowing performance, while Mukul and Kashmera danced on Oonchi Hai Building...

A dramatic sequence was shot in Kayamath wherein Ayesha, played by gets killed by Sanjeeda SheikhMallika (Reshmi Ghosh).

Ayesha who was once negative suddenly turned positive and is now killed in the most unceremonious manner! Telly Buzz team was present at the sets to witness the proceedings post Ayesha’s death. Another twist to come is that grief hits a pregnant Prachi (Panchi Bora) when she sees her husband Milind (Shabbir Ahluwalia) being arrested for Ayesha’s murder.

Mallika, the real culprit has played her cards safe and the audience is still unaware of the motive behind her entering MICHI’s life! When asked Sanjeeda about the track, she says, “Who will like to die? I don’t want to die in my reel life or real life”. However, she remained tight-lipped about the probability of a comeback and quipped, “It’s the decision of the creative team; I am here to act and cannot question them on the track. They have decided about the track and I am here to complete my part”.

Shabbir Ahluwalia expressed his sorrow on Sanjeeda's exit from the show. However, keeping alive his charismatic sense of humor even while shooting a sad scene, the actor opined, “We will surely miss Sanjeeda. We will miss her songs with which she used to irritate us always. Even after Nach got over, we used to find her dancing all around the sets. We will miss her dances too”.

Abigael Jain, the youngest contestant of 9X’ Kaun Jeetega Bollywood Ka Ticket who represented the Western Sharks is the one to be eliminated this week!!

This elimination comes as a shock after Twinkle Bajpai and Puneet Israni of Central Cheetahs staged a walkout earlier in the episode! The celebrities who were in the bottom three were Reshmi Ghosh from Eastern Tigers, Twinkle and Abigael.

Giving us details is our source from the sets, “Abigael expressed her disappointment at being the second celebrity to get ousted in one episode. But then the show had to go on, Twinkle went out as per her wish and as per the format of the show, there had to be an elimination happening, and the axe fell on Abigael and her partner Bhushan”.

Rizwan Sikander – Seran Leila: Rizwan (24 years) is the brother of popular actress Shama Sikander. He was a contestant of Zee Cine Star Ki Khoj and was also the winner of Fear Factor India. Has been a ramp model for Levis and Spykar. On the other hand, 26 year old Seran from London is a trained Ballet dancer who wants to try her hand in acting!

Manit Joura – Manika Dhanda: Manit, the 22 year old lad has been part of Zindagi ke Rang on Pragya channel. He was also a contestant of Gladrags Mega Model and Manhunt. Manika(24 years) was also a contestant of Gladrags Mega Model and Manhunt. She has already bagged a role opposite Navjot Singh Sidhu in Harman Baweja’s ‘Victory’.

Kapil Verma – Shivani Thakur: Kapil(27 years) has been part of many episodics in CID, Aahat and was also seen in Prithviraj Chauhan. The 20 year old Shivani was seen playing the sister of Amit Tandon in Zee’s Saath Saath

Manav Sharma – Rashmi Bedi: Manav(24 years) was again a contestant of Zee Cinestar Ki Khoj and will be seen playing the lead role in the upcoming film ‘Comeback’. Rashmi, being one of the exceptions has never faced camera before.

Kabir Verma – Sejal Patel: Kabir(26 years) is a graphic designer by profession, has done theater and been part of a short film. He wants to pursue acting as his career. Sejal(23 years) is an eye doctor by profesión, but has done modelling shows and many print ads.

Shrejil Khan – Sneha Namanandi: Sherjil(24 years) is pursuing career in acting and was seen in Harry Baweja’s video. Sneha, the 19 year old is studying, but wants to take up a career in acting. She has received many offers in South and will probably sign for a south movie too.

The other three contestant jodis, Aslum Qureshi - Mayuree Chaddha, Dhawal Doshi - Greesha Divecha and Jashanpreet Singh - Tahira Basil are the only ones who have not faced the shutterbugs!!

With this info, we buzzed Abhimanyu Singh, CEO, Contiloe Films to get an idea on the criteria of contestants’ selection. “The main criteria to select the contestants were unique stories, interesting backdrops and ability to dance”, quips he.

We told Abhimanyu about our findings that nearly eight jodis out of the 11 have faced camera before. So is this a platform for actors or for people in love? “Well, it’s not a platform for actors and I would like to clarify that there is no criteria which says that aspiring actors cannot be part of the show”, quotes Abhimanyu. Remind him that it was clearly mentioned in the press conference that this show was for the common man and he says, “Yes, it is absolutely for the common man wherein we are showing 11 unique stories”.

But is it a mere coincidence that all the girls participating are gorgeous looking and men are with perfect muscles and physique, we ask him. “Well, I told you that it was just the unique stories, interesting backdrops and the ability to dance that were identified”. He further adds, “A company named Big Events took care of the audition and a radio station also ran a promo asking people to participate in the show. It was done in Pune, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Chandigarh, Bangalore and many other cities. So I don’t think its anything we have not communicated and finally I feel that the show is open to all”.

Zee’s Ek Se Badhkar Ek had the theme of ‘Regional Songs’ this week!

Mandira Bedi took over as host from owing to Ravi Kissen’s unavailability. This week saw Jasveer Kaur-Raja Hassan and Rajshree Thakur-Amit Paul in the danger zone. But there was a twist to the tale and according to our well-placed source, “Rajshri Thakur requested to be eased out of the competition as her knee was in real bad shape. She had been advised by her doctors not to dance for a while. Bearing in mind her serial and personal commitments, the actress did not want to take the risk of continuing”.

Our source adds on to say “Rajshri had taken the decision to quit even before the episode shoot and had also informed the channel authorities. But this decision came as a shocker to the judges and contestants present there”. When asked about the future of Amit Paul in the contest, our source avers, “The judges initially decided to go for a face-off between Raja Hassan and Amit Paul, but the major question before them was, who will partner Amit even if he survives this round? However, Amit made things simpler as by saying he respects Rajshri’s decision and will also opt out”.

Telly Buzz called Rajshri Thakur to know more on her injury. “It’s a ligament tear that forced me to quit. I had this problem ever since the show started, but had ignored it”, quips the actress.

When asked about the repeated comments making rounds that she was part of the competition because of her fans and not due to her talent, Rajshri quotes, “I think all know the format of the show and they are also aware that I have earned my audience/fans over a period of time due to my hard work. Nothing comes on a platter, so if I am getting votes and my fans are supporting me, then nobody should be unhappy. After all, it is a celebrity competition and everyone should respect audience voting. As far as talent goes, I have been performing to the fullest of my abilities and it was my hard work that was getting paid off. My fans accepted me because of my talent".

Last but not the least, Rajshri ends with a message to her fans, “Thank you so much for supporting me and loving me always. Love you all!”.

Twinkle Bajpai stages a walkout!!

Drama does not seem to end in Kaun Jeetega Bollywood ka Ticket as amidst all the chaos, news pours in that Twinkle Bajpai who has been nicknamed as ‘Nautanki’ by few other contestants there has staged a walkout from the show along with her partner Puneet Israni!!

Telly Buzz got a fuming Twinkle on phone who says, “I was about to leave the show in the 2nd episode when there was a big fight between Chetan and my partner Puneet, but I decided to stay back. Ever since the show started, I have been against the concept of contestants voting out a jodi and I am damn sure that if I would have been in the bottom three, I would have got eliminated as all present here dislike Puneet from the first episode”. Adding on, the actress says, “Eyebrows were raised by many, especially Mihika when we got 30 points in the first episode. Chetan being the eldest in this group should have handled the situation with Puneet in a better way; instead he went to top gear!”

Twinkle who was in the top three last week was shocked to know that she was in bottom three this time around, and this is when all hell broke loose, says our source. “When I saw myself in bottom three, I really got annoyed and decided to walk out of the show”, confirms Twinkle.

According to Twinkle, when she took this decision it was Mihika who voiced first that she is walking out as she is staring at defeat. “Mihika started the issue and later even Chetan and Karan followed suit and starting talking ill of me”, cribs Twinkle.

However, when we asked Mihika, she spoke out, “If Twinkle was unhappy with the voting pattern, she should have voiced it from the very first episode. She did not even think twice before eliminating a good contestant like Panchi. Now when she was in the bottom three, she got a fear that majority will vote against her”.

Karan Patel, who also voiced his thoughts about Twinkle in the episode, says to us, “Twinkle lacks sportsman spirit. She cannot handle all this, so she staged a walkout”.

Mihika goes on to say, “Twinkle has a bad mouth, and went on to say rubbish about each and everyone. She showed her class by opening her mouth and I stayed calm and maintained my dignity”. When we quizzed Twinkle further, she maintained, “I am from a good family and so is Puneet. We do not deserve to take all the nonsense that others speak here. So we decided to quit”.

The battle of words does not end here as Mihika quips, “She should have quit after getting 30, which would have been graceful. Instead, walking out after being in bottom three just shows what a person she is!! She does not have the guts to face the challenge”.

Star Plus’ Baa Bahu Aur Baby is all set to celebrate yet another birthday of their most loved character, Baby!

If last year saw an entry into the Limca Book of Records with India’s biggest birthday card mounted at Oberoi Gardens, this year will have a grand-scale masquerade party to celebrate the occasion. And the biggest highlight of the party will be a contest wherein Baby played by Benaf Dadachandji will have to identify her own family members behind the mask. Giving us an insight on the contest is JD Majethia, “We have always tried to do something different for Baby’s birthday; we will have a masquerade party where the person who Baby is not able to identify will be declared the winner”.

Talking about the various get-ups that the family members have gone for, JD explains, “Mota Bhai is dressed like Dracula, Subodh as King Kong, I am dressed up as a Kathakali dancer, and Baa turns into a Sardarji. Leela Bhabhi becomes Raavan with ten heads while Meenakshi is the Kali Mata, with her whole body painted black”. JD goes on to say that the cast has put in lot of efforts to dress uniquely and all was so much fun!

Unleashing yet another surprise is JD, “The gorgeous Katrina Kaif will grace Baby’s birthday. When the winner of the contest is being declared, Katrina makes her entry to wish Baby”. When asked who the winner of the contest is, JD quips, “You need to wait and watch the episode to know that”.

The very cute trio of Vishal Singh-Dimple Jhangiani-Proneeta had one bad day at the office that spoilt their chances of moving ahead in the competition, as they happen to be the third team to get out!

Giving us information is our well-placed source from the sets, “Vishal and Dimple have always been commended by the judges for their on-stage chemistry, but nothing went right for them this week. As they started to perform, Dimple blanked out on stage and could not continue her performance, courtesy an overdose of work and sleepless nights for nearly a week. Vishal’s attempts to motivate her to continue were in vain as Dimple just refused to dance”.

But the irony for Vishal was that unlike the earlier episodes, he performed exceptionally well with his pyaar Proneeta. “All the judges, especially Mahesh Bhatt was so impressed by Vishal and Proneeta’s performance that he pointed fingers at Dimple and told her that she should have supported her partner and should have carried on with her performance from where she stopped. He went on to say that had she delivered even a decent performance, they would have been safe”, quips our source.

The talented singer who landed at Maldives today at 12.30 PM, along with Sumitra and Vyom for a concert to be held on August 1st got drowned late in the afternoon while swimming in the pool in the resort where they were staying. He is now being brought to Male City (Capital of Maldives) at the ADK Hospital. The authorities confirm that he was dead when he was brought to the hospital. The body of the singer is now being examined further by the doctors.

Apart from being the winner of Voice of India, Ishmeet took part in the recently concluded reality show on Star Plus, Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar.

“I have taken it up as a challenge and have deliberately picked up this kind of a role”, quips Manish. The finalists of the year’s biggest talent show Metro Rockers Varun-Loria and Desi Dhurandhars Deepak –Nishtha are now all geared up for the grand finale on August 2nd.

In the previous episode, we saw Nidhi and Rudraksh from Metro-Rockers leaving the GINI & JONY Chak De Bachche family. The competition is undoubtedly at the final stage and the little wonders of GINI & JONY Chak De Bachche will leave no stone unturned to emerge victorious. Laloo Prasad Yadav Pass ho Gaye 'Almost'...

Laloo Prasad Yadav is a name that needs no introduction. There is little doubt that this Indian railway minister casts a unique figure in the hurly-burly of Indian politics. Be it his hair, his dialect, the style in which he celebrates festivals everything makes a headline. His humility and wit charms all and sundry; even Shah Rukh Khan couldn't escape Laloo Prasad Yadav's Charismatic charm as he graces Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? grand Finale as a contestant.

This Sunday is sure to be a laughter riot with Shah Rukh's witty humor and Laloo's repartees. This Railway minister who turned around the financial report card on the Indian Railways in the last 55 years couldn't recall names of all his kids together in a family photograph. It's it funny? Or The rail minister giving Shah Rukh Khan recipe to make Indian desert 'sattu' and then offering to make it for Shah Rukh at his place at 'Mannat', speaks about the instant rapport that the duo struck on the show.

Straight from the shoot: - Laloo looked nervous when he entered the set. He said it feels back to school with this atmosphere and the class modeled set. But when SRK took him through the show format, Laloo opened up and suddenly his energy rubbed onto everybody around; the host, the classmates and the audience. On being quizzed about his younger days, Laloo revealed he was handsome; he had black hair then. Shah Rukh complimented on his style, said that his hairstyle is very popular.

Laloo answered all the questions like rapid fire and turned out to be a very intelligent student in Shgah Rukh's classroom. Shah Rukh insisted that he should be called 'Laloo encyclopedia' . Apart from quizzing and serious deliberations over some of the questions Shah Rukh also indulged in playing naughty with Laloo. He questioned Laloo on his romantic quotient and asked him the most romantic thing that he did for his wife, Rabri Devi. "Rabri to khud hi rabri Jaisi hai", replied a shy Laloo. SRK also made Laloo groove to Chaiyya Chaiyya. He jokingly said he agreed to do this song only for the betterment of Railways. Laloo showed his singing talent; sang a HOLI song for everybody in the audience. He also very emotionally ended the episode by reciting Saare Jahaan se Acchaa Hindustan hamaraa…. He will be donating the amount won on the show to Railway minister's relief fund.

As Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass se Tez Hain? reaches its finale week, the list of celebrities on the show get bigger and wilder. This Saturday, watch the cutest and the hottest couple of the tinsel town, Priyanka and Harman grace Shah Rukh Ki Pathshala.

Shah Rukh extended a warm welcome to the Bollywood’s most recent debutant Harman. Accompanied by Priyanka, the twosome looked like angels. They appeared so much in love and so smitten that couldn’t take their eyes off each other. They kept seeking each other’s consensus over every question but wouldn’t agree to any of the answers. They had cute arguments over what answers to fix and what could be the correct answers. After rounds of bickering, Shah Rukh actually awarded them with the title of ‘Most confused couple’. He also quizzed them about their relationship and the chemistry they share. When asked Harman about his idea of romance, he promptly replied, “A girl with red hair works” hinting at Priyanka’s look in Love Story 2050.

On showing their childhood pictures, Priyanka blatantly denied they were hers whereas she found Harman very cute as a baby. The couple also recalled their days as students; Priyanka says she was a very good student while Harman confessed that he was more inclined towards sports and was an average student.

Amidst their pyar-takraar and round of challenging questions and answers, the couple enjoyed themselves thoroughly with the kids. They taught them some steps from their song Milo Na Milo from Love Story 2050.
