Bappi Lahiri the undisputed “Disco King” of the 80’s made the the nation sway to his disco beats. Now it’s the turn of his talented son Bappa Lahiri to walk in his dad’s footsteps & take the legacy ahead! After composing music for films, he has now made his television debut as a composer and singer by composing & lending his voice for the title track of Star One’s new reality dance show “Zara Nachke Dikha”.
The title track of the ‘battle of the sexes’ is a fusion of hip hop and bhangra and is also sung by Bappi Lahiri’s protégé Mauli Dave. Bappa has been assisting his father for some time now turned independent music director last year with Sanjay Gupta’s multi-starrer ‘Dus Kahaniyan’.
An elated Bappa said, “ZND’s title track is a foot tapping number and I am really excited and eagerly waiting for audience’s response. My focus has always been on composing, but I do have some great singing offers and if I find it exciting I will surely go for singing as well”
