Why Did Jay Bhanushali left 'Kairi' ?

There have been reports of Jay Bhanushali aka Anuj quitting Colors’ Kairi- Rishta Khatta Meetha. These reports indicated that the actor backed out of the show.
Remember, we had earlier reported about Jay throwing a lot of tantrums on the sets. It is said that he used to walk off the sets and insist on not saying certain lines in front of the camera. Well, it seems that the entire quitting story has evolved from there. As per a reliable source, the production house was tired of the actor’s tantrums.


However, the entire situation reached a flashpoint when the actor asked for a 45-day leave from the makers. Since Jay plays a lead in the show, the production couldn’t have given him a 45-day leave. But then, Jay insisted and threatened to leave the show. Hence, the production house asked him to put down his papers at once.

Currently, the makers are looking for a replacement. And if things go as planned, they should rope in someone before Jay’s last shooting date which happens to be 28 September. The actor is currently serving a notice period.

We tried getting in touch with Jay and producer Sumeet Mittal, but both remained unavailable for comment.
